The Divine Comedy of Athens runs the gambit of what it's like to be a college student, shown through lenses chosen to highlight the inferno, purgatorio, and paradiso aspects of studenthood.

Inferno focuses on the garbage lifestyle of college students. The photographs are full color, taken with a digital camera, and often ugly flash photo techniques are used to draw attention to the disgusting lifestyle choices of college students.

Purgatorio emphasizes the hum-drum student experience. The photographs were taken with an old black and white film camera. Attention to quiet places and lonely landscapes stresses the slow progress of a college student through their studies.

Paradiso dramatizes the beauty of a college student's freedom. On a nice day, students can explore their natural environment and reintroduce aspects of their childhoods to their newly independent lives. Paradise pictures were taken with a Holga camera on 120mm color film.
